Kami Martial Arts offers judo classes for children aged 4 to 8 at our purpose built dojo in Nekala.

Judo is one of the best activities a young child can start. It builds confidence, coordination, discipline and respect. Skills that go far beyond the mat. At Kami, every child is welcomed regardless of experience, language or background. No previous martial arts knowledge is needed.

Our head coach Álvaro Riveros Gorriti holds a 4th Dan in judo and has over 30 years of experience coaching children and adults at all levels.

We also designed the club with families in mind. A dedicated play area means younger siblings can stay and play safely while older children train, and parents can easily

Classes run every Tuesday and Thursday from 17:00 to 18:15 at Ahlmanintie 59, Nekala, Tampere.

The first class is completely free. No equipment or uniform needed to start! Just comfortable clothes and a willingness to try something new.
